Title  Dead Meat
This horror pic set in the Irish countryside starts out with what appears to be mad cow disease. But, the cows are suffering from something even more sinister. When they start to attack people they spread a contagious virus that turns people into flesh-eating zombies. Aside from the setting (and the man-eating cows) there is little to set this film apart from other zombie flicks. Yet, the characters do bring to mind more than a few cantankerous Irish farmers I’ve met. Not a very pretty picture. See also Boy Eats Girl (2005) a teenage, suburban Irish zombie flick.
