Title
The Boxer
|
'Why can't the two parties put on gloves and fight it out like gentleman?' Seems like a fitting solution for something simply referred to as 'The Troubles.' In this film, teaching both Catholic and Protestant youths of a Belfast neighborhood to box together is more than a visual metaphor. Here boxing gets both sides close enough to show each other that they are real people and not just billboards for a cause. |
