Title  Veronica Guerin
Veronica Guerin was a crime reporter for a Dublin newspaper. After only two years as a journalist she was a household name because of her daring and reckless crime investigations. Interviewing suspected underworld characters brought realism to her stories and real danger to herself and her family. She used pseudonyms for criminals to protect the paper from lawsuits. She called Martin Cahill "The General" and clearly did not see him as an 'ordinary decent criminal' as he liked to put it. Some figures enjoyed the celebrity and others used her to spread misinformation about other crime figures. Ultimately, she got too close to the truth and paid the price, but her death lead to sweeping reform of Ireland's judicial system. See also: When the Sky Falls			Click picture for more info
